A FURRY feline has been reunited with his owners after a day trip around the city in the back
of a lorry. Two-year-old Harry, an unusual pale ginger and brown cat, jumped into the vehicle
outside his home in Stagshaw Drive, Fletton last Thursday morning.
Harry the ragdoll cat went on an adventure around the city but is now home
safe.
After hours of delivering goods to customers in Parnwell, Fletton, Orton Goldhay and other
areas of the city, the drivers of the DFS furniture store lorry realised they had a feline
stowaway on board.

The kind-hearted men dropped the cat off at Burghley Veterinary Surgery in Market Deeping and
the RSPCA was contacted and the cat put in private boarding accommodation in Eye.
But in a desperate bid to reunite the cat, which is a ragdoll breed, the men contacted all of
the homes they had stopped at to see if anyone was missing a pet.
